Early Recognition

This gallery shows selections of my first 5 1/2 years of painting, prior to beginning my professional career.  In this time period I was living as an off-grid wilderness cabin dwelling “almost hermit” in the forested mountains of Southern Oregon near Crater Lake.  However I did exhibit occasionally in local Rouge Valley festival venues to very encouraging appreciation.

Interested in a particular piece of David’s Early Work?

Early Work Acquisition Info

Welcome. Thank you for your artistic appreciation! Please note: This is a “Legacy Gallery” and it is NOT one of our “available for immediate collection” galleries because it is showing David’s earlier work, and therefore contains an undistinguished mix of both collected AND uncollected work. Why? Because of course, we wish you to see all David’s masterpieces… regardless of their creation date, and whether or not they have been collected. Yes, of course David is open to offers on this original earlier work if it is still available. To find out, please inquire about the artwork you’re interested in by using the button below. AFTER receiving your inquiry, we will THEN do an inventory/records search and respond with detailed particulars about that piece. Please note, this is done ‘old school’ and therefore we appreciate your patience. Thank you.

PS. (Adding an afterthought): Please note that even when a painting IS already collected, we certainly have the ability to contact the collector and inquire if they might have any interest in re-selling it to you, especially if your offer is generous.
